Greg Hampsey
Construction Director
Greg’s early career development was formed on site as a multi-skilled tradesman specialising in formwork and steel reinforcement. Greg moved in to sub-contracting and latterly as contractor providing services to the heavy civil engineering, commercial and industrial construction sectors.

Simon Weir
Commercial Manager
Simon joined Hampsey Ltd in the autumn of 2024, bringing with him a vast wealth of experience from his time at Harrington's and Henry Boot amongst others in the construction industry.

Gary Apsley
Contracts Manager
Gary began his journey in construction in the early 1980s as a helping hand on Manchester Airport's new terminal building. He quickly rose up the ranks at companies such as BAM and Laings, making a name for himself as a shrewd project manager and dedicated, hard working employee.

Gary has overseen many landmark projects around the north of England such as the development of the Supertram in Sheffield and the transport logistics/infrastructure of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Financial Controller
Danny has been with Hampsey since the start and handles all financial roles within the company. An integral member of the Hampsey team, he handles various stakeholders ranging from plant hire companies to specialist subcontractors with humility and dignity.

Jake Apsley
Assistant Commercial Manager
Jake joined Hampsey in the summer of 2018 to help with scanning and filing and has since developed into an important member of the team, working on many different aspects of the business ranging from maintenance of the website to the overseeing of new computer systems implemented on our sites.

Ryan Blacklaws
Assistant Technical Manager
Adding to our younger ranks, Ryan joined Hampsey in January 2024 as a document controller on our SeAH Monopile Factory project.
